Extract: Virginia does not produce sufficient corn and soybeans to meet feed demand by livestock and poultry within the state. The objectives of this study were to 1) determine the magnitude of the deficit, 2) determine if storage was aggravating the problem, and 3) determine why Virginia does not produce enough corn and soybeans to meet feed demand.
