Although hemp, or cannabis fibre, in its non-toxic form has been used successfully in the production of horse-bedding, building material, clothing fabric, and paper-making, it is a prohibited plant. Doctors, agronomists, farmers and manufacturers comment on its value, especially to the Australian agricultural economy. Archival film supports the points made.
