The correct implementation of the ISO 14000 series of International Standards is entirely dependent on valid measurements, which in turn require the correct approach to recovery factors - yet at present there is no International Standard on the correct use of recovery factors. This book will form the basis for a document on conformity assessment to standards proposed for acceptance by IUPAC, ISO, AOAC and Codex Alimentarius Commission.
