Abstract: This diet emphasizes the "delicious", offering a tasty low-calorie diet, the guidelines of which are in accord with current cancer prevention dietary advice. It provides a healthful balance of protein, fat, and carbohydrate and a personalized approach. The result will be a loss of a pound or more daily of both fat and water. Topics addressed include: learning how to really appreciage food through all the senses, setting weight loss goals, and general guidelines to the diet. Basic diet menus and a substantial recipe section are provided. Some extra-quick reducing aids are described (3-day vegetable diet, 1-day liquid diet) along with relevant recipes. Eating out tips, a maintenance plan, and maintenance recipes are also included. Physical activity is discusses. A foods table listing calories, protein, fat, and carbohydrates in average portion sizes is supplied. Also discusses is the relationship between diet and health. (as).
