The classification of body mass index (BMI) showed a higher percentage (83%) of LIG subjects having normal BMI as compared to HIG (63%) and MIG (60%) subjects. The mean values of total cholesterol were observed insignificantly higher in HIG (188.32mg/dl) as compared to MIG (185.46 mg/dl) and LIG (176.02mg/dl) subjects. The physical activity level of the subjects was inversely associated with risk factors of cardio-vascular diseases (CVD). The subjects of MIG and HIG were found to have high risk factors of CVD as compared to those subjects of LIG.
