Dietary guidelines are healthy practices

"Nutrition Week" provides an indepth look at various sections of the Dietary Guidelines for Americans in an easy-to-read format. This particular issue discusses the first three guidelines, namely: 1) Eat a variety of foods; 2) maintain reasonable weight; and 3) avoid too much fat, saturated fat, and cholesterol. Tables containing a list of the different food groups, body weight ranges, and caloric expenditures for different activities are included.(lsp)
