Proximate factors influencing parasitoid progeny allocation

Many factors influence parasitoid progeny allocation, but only recently has this aspect of parasitoid biology been systematically approached. This paper briefly summarizes the theoretical basis for studies of progeny allocation, and reviews some of the behavioral and developmental factors influencing this life-history trait.
