Two New Phloroglucinol Derivatives from Syzygium brachyantherum

Two new phloroglucinol derivatives were isolated from the twigs and leaves of Syzygium brachyantherum. Their structures were elucidated based on extensive spectroscopic data. They exhibited weak inhibitory activities against α-glucosidase and PTP1B.
