Borderline ovarian tumors are semimalignant tumors that usually affect young women. The treatment of these neoplasms is the subject of continuous debate as there is no clear consensus on their management, especially when arising in women who may wish to become pregnant in the future. In these women, the risk of recurrence and malignancy must be weighed against the possibility of achieving reproductive desires. The present article reviews the literature on this topic, based on the case of a patient with bilateral and sequential tumoral involvement. Conservative surgical management provided an adequate oncological and reproductive approach.
