Field experiments were conducted for two consecutive Zaid seasons of the years 2011 and 2012 at Student Instructional Farm of N.D. University of Agriculture and Technology, Narendra Nagar (Kumarganj), Faizabad to workout the “Influence of Rhizobium inoculation on growth, yield and quality of urdbean (Vigna mungo L.) in relation to zinc and molybdenum.”. Result data revealed that the application of 5.0 kg Zn ha⁻¹, 0.5 kg Mo ha⁻¹ and inoculation of seeds with Rhizobium significantly increased seed and stover yield. Protein content increased with the use of zinc, molybdenum and inoculation of seed with Rhizobium but the increased was not significant. Nitrogen uptake significantly increased with the use of zinc 5.0 kg ha⁻¹, Mo 0.5 kg ha⁻¹ and Rhizobium inoculation. Zinc and molybdenum uptake significantly increased with the use of 2.5 kg zinc and 0.5 kg Mo ha⁻¹. Available N, Zn and Mo buildup in soil after harvested of the crop with the application of Zn, Mo and Rhizobium.
