SynopsisResponses to mowing of Highland and Seaside bentgrasses and Alta tall fescuegrass evaluated by yield were similar. Greatest yield was produced by Aha, in the spring season (Mar), and at longer intervals between mowing. Chlorophyll content of clippings was greatest at mowing intervals of 4 and 10 days. Regrowth on the day following mowing approached the mean growth rate at mowing intervals of 10 or more days.
