Phytochemical analysis of withania somnifera and solanum nigrum using GCMS and IR Spectroscopy

Present investigation was undertaken on analysis of phytochemicals present in various parts of Withania somnifera and Solanum nigrum using GCMS and IR spectroscopy, The GCMS identified 15 components each from Solanum nigrum fruit and leaf extracts, and 15 from Withania somnifera leaf extracts. However, 12 components were identified from Withania somnifera fruit extracts.
