Efficacy of Spirotetramat 150 OD against Two Spotted Spider Mite, Tetranychus urticae Koch on Brinjal, Solanum melongena L

Field studies at two locations viz., Pullakoundanputhur and Vadivalenpalayam, Coimbatore, to assess the efficacy of spirotetramat 150 OD (60, 75 and 90 g a.i. ha⁻¹) in comparison with thiamethoxam 25 WG (25 g a.i.ha⁻¹) and dicofol 18.5 EC (250 g a.i. ha⁻¹) against two spotted spider mite, Tetranychus urticae Koch on brinjal revealed that foliar application of spirotetramat at 90 and 75 g a.i. ha⁻¹ was highly effective followed by spirotetramat at 60 g a.i. ha⁻¹ and dicofol 18.5 EC at 250 g a.i ha⁻¹. Consequently, maximum fruit yield of brinjal was obtained in these treatments.
