The name Peridinium splendor‐maris (Blepharocysta splendor‐maris) is not recommended for conservation with the proposed conserved type. The name “Alexandrium” Halim (Dinophyceae) could not be recommended for conservation because it is not a validly published name. The name Gracilariopsis is recommended for conservation. The name Chara flexilis (Nitella flexilis) is not recommended for conservation with the proposed conserved type.
