Getting corporate funding for health education
1980
Sparber, Peter G.
Both public and private corporations are potential sources of funding for health programs. Corporations do this for a number of reasons, most of which focus on public affairs: marketing a company's uniqueness; minimizing regulations; attracting energetic, creative personnel; and maintaining policy and financial support by increasing confidence. Good proposals for corporate support are characterized by a well-defined problem, an appropriate solution, step-by-step implementation, future self-sufficiency, clearly defined responsibilities, and quantifiable objectives. A case study describes the implementation and completion of a health education needs assessment study.
