Formation and stability of complex species deriving from interaction between 3-amino-1, 2, 4-triazole [H(ata)] with acetate, malonate and citrate, has been studied in aqueous solution, by Potentiometrie method [(H⁺)-glass electrode] at T=25°C. Experimental data are consistent with the formation of (ata)LHⱼ species (j = 1…n + 1, n = number of protons in the carboxylic acid, HⱼL). The stability of the hypothesized species is discussed, in relation to speciation problems in natural waters.
