Effect of Water Soluble Fertilizers and Normal Fertilizers at Different Levels on Chlorophyll Content, Leaf Area Index and Cane Yield of Sugarcane under Subsurface Drip Fertigation
2015
Mahesh, R. | Raja, N Asoka
The present study was under taken to determine the effect of Water soluble fertilizers (WSF) and Normal fertilizers (NF) at different levels on chlorophyll content, leaf area index and cane yield of sugarcane (CO 86032) under subsurface drip fertigation system (SSDF). WSFviz., All 19, Mono Ammonium Phosphate, Potassium Nitrate, Urea Phosphate and NF viz., Urea, Di-Ammonium Phosphate and Muriate of Potash as NF were compared at 75%, 100% RDF and also in combination of WSF and NF. The fertilizerdose used was as follows 300: 100: 200 kg NPK ha⁻¹. Significantly higher cane leaf area index, chlorophyll content and cane yield was recorded in SSDF at 100% RDF with WSF and this was on par with combination of 75% RDF with WSF + 25% RDF with NF under SSDF.
