Twenty first century is characterized as information age. Information technology has been equipped by the advent of effective technology innovations. Information revolution has profound impact on different walks of life. Both teachers and students need to keep themselves updated with current happenings to be competent in this globalised era. All these things can be the possible through proper facilities. The integration of ICTs into educational classroom teaching has attained a new upsurge nowadays. ICT has also made the impact on helping students to surf for the information which is normally not available to them. The present study was conducted on “Competencies of the teachers and students in application of information and communication technologies (ICTs)” at CCS HAU Hisar with the sample size 250 including 100 teachers and 150 students. Findings of the study showed that the competency index of ICTs by the teachers (98.00%) and students (94.67%) was found high. Hence it can be concluded that ICT, with its beneficial characteristics has enhanced students’ efficiency by way of providing them the accurate, fastest, reliable versatile operations. The students can make use of ICT in every walk of life like studies, research, sports and entertainment.
