E.S.P. basado en el análisis del aceite dieléctrico | Support tool in the maintenance management of power transformers in the substations of the Electrificadora de Santander S.A. E.S.P. based on dielectric oil analysis

Actualmente las redes pertenecientes al sistema de transmisión regional y distribución local de la Electrificadora de Santander S.A E.S.P. cuentan con 76 subestaciones, 133 transformadores de alta potencia, que permiten atender a 729 mil usuarios, a los cuales se les debe garantizar una prestación del servicio eficiente bajo criterios de confiabilidad y seguridad establecidos regulatoriamente. Siendo los transformadores de potencia la base del sistema de una subestación eléctrica, un sistema de gestión de activos sobre estos elementos, permite mantener de manera sistemática y organizada el control sobre parámetros fundamentales operativos de estos activos y efectuar mantenimientos que preserven la integridad, la eficiencia y el buen funcionamiento, garantizando la continuidad en la prestación del servicio. La confiabilidad del servicio prestado por la Electrificadora de Santander S.A E.S.P está asociado directamente a la continuidad del mismo. Una falla en uno de los transformadores representaría una perdida en el suministro en los circuitos asociados a la subestación afectando posiblemente a miles de usuarios e influyendo en gastos significativos para la empresa por efecto de energía no vendida y compensaciones. Entre las acciones para evitar estas pérdidas se encuentra la herramienta desarrollada en este proyecto que con una interfaz sencilla muestre una tendencia de cada uno de los resultados de las realizadas a los transformadores a fin de establecer el momento donde las variables críticas puedan representar una amenaza para la prestación del servicio y poder actuar con un mantenimiento efectivo en el transformador específico donde pueda presentar una falla. El objetivo de este trabajo de grado es desarrollar una herramienta de apoyo que permita a la Electrificadora de Santander S.A E.S.P establecer un mantenimiento oportuno en los transformadores de potencia ubicados en las subestaciones, basados en criterios de confiabilidad. Se basara principalmente en el análisis de las pruebas realizadas al aceite aislante de tipo mineral de los transformadores presentes en las subestaciones de la Electrificadora de Santander. Para el desarrollo de la herramienta fue necesario realizar una actualización del inventario de activos que componen las subestaciones, seguido de una base de datos histórica con los resultados de pruebas fisicoquímicas, de cromatografía y análisis de furanos realizadas a los transformadores de las subestaciones. Así mismo fue necesario revisar las normas que rigen la evaluación de los resultados de las pruebas hechas al sistema de aislamiento del transformador. Estos estándares se cargan en la herramienta, por medio de programación, con el fin de realizar un análisis automático de los valores obtenidos en las pruebas efectuadas. Al finalizar la aplicación el personal de la Electrificadora de Santander S.A E.S.P recibirá una capacitación sobre el funcionamiento de la aplicación. La herramienta de apoyo en la gestión de mantenimiento de transformadores permitirá realizar una consulta del histórico de las pruebas fisicoquímicas, de cromatografía y análisis de furanos de cada uno de los transformadores de la electrificadora, diferenciando antiguos de actuales. Adicionalmente realizara un análisis automático basado en las normas IEEE, ASTM e IEC para conocer la operación que se debe realizar. Finalmente el operador también podrá alimentar la base de datos del histórico de las pruebas y generar un informe en formato PDF del análisis de las pruebas.

Currently the networks belonging to the regional transmission and local distribution system of Electrificadora de Santander S.A E.S.P. They have 76 substations, 133 high-power transformers, which allow serving 729 thousand users, to whom an efficient service provision must be guaranteed under criteria of reliability and safety established by regulation. Being the power transformers the base of the system of an electrical substation, an asset management system on these elements, allows to maintain in a systematic and organized way the control over the fundamental operating parameters of these assets and to carry out maintenance that preserves the integrity, the efficiency and proper functioning, guaranteeing continuity in the provision of the service. The reliability of the service provided by Electrificadora de Santander S.A E.S.P is directly associated with its continuity. A failure in one of the transformers would represent a loss in supply in the circuits associated with the substation, possibly affecting thousands of users and influencing significant expenses for the company due to the effect of unsold energy and compensation. Among the actions to avoid these losses is the tool developed in this project that with a simple interface shows a trend of each of the results of those carried out to the transformers in order to establish the moment when the critical variables may represent a threat to the provision of the service and to be able to act with an effective maintenance in the specific transformer where it may present a failure. The objective of this degree project is to develop a support tool that allows Electrificadora de Santander S.A E.S.P to establish a timely maintenance in the power transformers located in the substations, based on reliability criteria. It will be based mainly on the analysis of the tests carried out on the mineral-type insulating oil of the transformers present in the substations of the Electrificadora de Santander. For the development of the tool it was necessary to update the inventory of assets that make up the substations, followed by a historical database with the results of physicochemical tests, chromatography and analysis of furans carried out on the transformers of the substations. Likewise, it was necessary to review the standards that govern the evaluation of the results of the tests made to the transformer's insulation system. These standards are loaded into the tool, by means of programming, in order to carry out an automatic analysis of the values ​​obtained in the tests carried out. At the end of the application, the staff of the Electrificadora de Santander S.A E.S.P will receive training on the operation of the application. The support tool in transformer maintenance management will allow a consultation of the history of the physicochemical tests, chromatography and furan analysis of each of the transformers of the electrification plant, differentiating old from current. Additionally, it will perform an automatic analysis based on the IEEE standards, ASTM and IEC to know the operation to be performed. Finally, the operator will also be able to feed the database of the history of the tests and generate a report in PDF format of the analysis of the tests.
