The investigation showed that Limuzin steers being fed with increased level of feeding (3310 FU per herd) from birth to 18 months had 540 kg of live weight and were heavier than their mates by 82 kg. During the periods of 8-18 and 0-18 months treated steers had the rate of average daily gain of 1082 and 925 g, which was 29.4 and 18.6% higher than of controls.

Установлено, что бычки лимузинской породы, выращенные при повышенном уровне кормления (3310 корм. ед. в среднем на 1 голову), за период от рождения до 18-месячного возраста достигли живой массы 540 кг и превосходили сверстников, выращенных на рационах общей питательной ценностью 3000 корм. ед., на 82 кг. В период 8-18 и 0-18 мес. среднесуточный прирост повышенного уровня кормления составил 1082 и 925 г, что на 29,4 и 18,6 % выше, чем у аналогов. На 1 кг прироста у бычков опытной группы затрачено 6,5 корм. ед. против 7,0 корм. ед. у контрольных животных.
