Results of many years researches on rare fruit plants introduction in the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine – quince oblong (Cydonia oblonga Mill.), cornel cherry (Cornus mas L.) and japanese flowering quince (Chaenomeles japonica Lindl.) are illuminated. There are facts on perspective cultivars and forms fruits biochemical composition, which distinguish by pectin substances high content (quince oblong and japanese flowering quince ), vitamin С (cornel cherry and japanese flowering quince), flavonolics, katechines (quince oblong and cornel cherry). Medicine significance of all plants organs as biological active substances source, very valuable for child and dietic nourishment is revealed.

Висвітлено результати багаторічних досліджень інтродукованих в Лісостепу України плодових рослин – айви довгастої (Cydonia oblonga Mill.), кизилу справжнього (Cornus mas L.) і хеномелеса японського (Chaenomeles japonica Lindl.). Наведено дані з біохімічного складу плодів різних сортів і форм, що відзначаються високим вмістом пектинів (айва довгаста і хеномелес японський), вітаміну С (кизил і хеномелес японський), флавонолів, катехінів (айва довгаста і кизил). Показано, що лікарське значення мають всі органи рослин, які містять біологічно активні речовини, цінні для дитячого і дієтичного харчування.
