El municipio de Pensilvania está ubicado en el oriente del departamento de Caldas, posee todos los climas térmicos en su territorio debido a que, sobre Él se encuentran alturas desde los 670 a los 3800 metros sobre el nivel del mar, es una zona montañosa y se asienta sobre la cordillera central. La secretaría de planeación municipal de la administración actual ha trabajado en el avance y mejoramiento de la infraestructura urbana y rural, de las vías intermunicipales e Inter veredales con la implementación de placas huella, mejoramiento de tuberías y calles, entre otras obras de vital importancia para el desarrollo de la comunidad. El objetivo de la práctica se centra en desarrollar un conjunto de actividades desde el área de planeación e infraestructura municipal en materia de topografía, para avanzar con el desarrollo de proyectos y planes ejecutados por la administración pública y gubernamental. El presente trabajo, se desarrolló en la modalidad de pasantía y lográndose el desarrollo de las actividades planteadas: 1. Diseño geométrico del tramo a mejorar con placa huella en la vereda Montebello. 2. Diseño de la solicitud de verificación para la construcción de una escombrera municipal. 3. Generación de carteras para la elaboración de presupuestos del mejoramiento de calles y conducciones. 4. Levantamientos topográficos de predios en proceso de subdivisión. 5. Participación en la ejecución de estudios topográficos para el diseño de un conducto interceptor. 7. Correcciones a planos, perfiles, diseños, y adición de detalles y curvas a levantamientos anteriores. Entre otras, finalmente, se logró cumplir el resultado esperado planteado inicialmente en la propuesta y se consideró la importancia de la topografía en el avance y desarrollo de un municipio.

The municipality of Pennsylvania is located in the east of the department of Caldas, it has all the thermal climates in its territory because, above it, there are heights from 670 to 3800 meters above sea level, it is a mountainous area and it is sits on the central mountain range. The municipal planning secretariat of the current administration has worked on the advancement and improvement of urban and rural infrastructure, of inter-municipal and inter-veredal roads with the implementation of footprint plates, improvement of pipes and streets, among other works of vital importance for community development. The objective of the practice is focused on developing a set of activities from the area of ​​planning and municipal infrastructure in the area of ​​topography, to advance with the development of projects and plans executed by the public and governmental administration. The present work was developed in the internship modality and achieving the development of the proposed activities: 1. Geometric design of the section to be improved with a footprint plate in the Montebello village. 2. Design of the verification request for the construction of a municipal dump. 3. Generation of portfolios for the preparation of budgets for the improvement of streets and pipelines. 4. Topographic surveys of properties in the process of subdivision. 5. Participation in the execution of topographic studies for the design of an interceptor conduit. 7. Corrections to plans, profiles, designs, and addition of details and curves to previous surveys. Among others, finally, the expected result initially raised in the proposal was achieved and the importance of topography in the advancement and development of a municipality was considered.
