Productivity of water bodies being of fishery importance in the Rostov region has been assessed and the results are presented. In May 2018 we studied plankton and benthos in 25 water reservoirs and rivers of the Rostov region. The species composition and the development of the plankton and benthos communities are shown to be different depending on the type of a waterbody. The highest productivity of the hydrobiological communities was observed in gully ponds.

Представлены результаты работ по оценке продуктивности водных объектов рыбохозяйственного значения Ростовской области. Исследования планктона и бентоса были проведены в мае 2018 г. в 25 водоемах и водотоках Ростовской области. Показано, что видовой состав планктонных и бентосных сообществ и уровень их развития значительно различаются в водных системах разного типа. Наиболее высокая продуктивность гидробиологических сообществ выявлена в балочных прудах.
