Current state of stocks and two-year forecast for anadromous and semi-anadromous fish species of the Azov Sea Basin | Современное состояние запасов и их прогноз на два года вперед для проходных и полупроходных видов рыб бассейна Азовского моря

The article consideres the current state of stocks and their forecast for such important commercial anadromous and semi-anadromous fish species of the Azov Sea as Pontic shad, zander, common bream, roach and vimba bream. It is based on the archive data and the results of ichthyological research of the Laboratory of Anadromous and Semi-anadromous Fish of the Azov-Black Sea Branch of the FSBSI “VNIRO” (“AzNIIRKH”) in 2017–2018, obtained by means of direct accounting of trawl catches at the stations covering the entire area of the Azov Sea. It is shown that, in the modern period, the stocks of the main commercial anadromous and semi-anadromous fish species of the Azov Sea remain at a low level. It results from a number of factors, the most important of which are a series of low-water years, the impact of fishing, and regulated flow of the Don and Kuban Rivers. In a pessimistic scenario, preservation of the once abundant species of anadromous and semi-anadromous fish will depend on the timely introduction of measures on restricting official fishing and suppressing illegal fishing.

Статья посвящена современному состоянию запасов и их прогнозу важных промысловых полупроходных и проходных рыб Азовского моря: сельди, судака, леща, тарани и рыбца. Материалом послужили архивные данные и результаты ихтиологических исследований лаборатории проходных и полупроходных рыб Азово-Черноморского филиала ФГБНУ «ВНИРО» («АзНИИРХ») в 2017–2018 гг., основанные на проведении прямых учетов траловых уловов на станциях, охватывающих всю акваторию Азовского моря. Показано, что в современный период запас основных промысловых проходных и полупроходных видов рыб Азовского моря остается на низком уровне. Это обусловлено рядом факторов, главнейшими из которых является череда маловодных лет, воздействие промысла, зарегулированность стока р. Дон и р. Кубань. При развитии событий по пессимистичному сценарию сохранение некогда многочисленных видов проходных и полупроходных рыб будет зависеть от своевременного введения мер ограничения официального промысла и пресечения незаконного промысла.
