Factor associate with quantity of fish harvested, amount of seed collected and net prepared in Dallake*

The valley of Kashmir has the distinction of having natural water resources. The findings revealed that amount of net weaving were positively and significantly correlated with annual income and family size of Dallake users. The amount of fish harvested was positively and significantly correlated with annual income and family type of Dal lake users. In case of seed collection, it was positively and significantly correlated with educational status and family size of Dallake users. The result indicated that occupation was found to -have no association with amount of net weaving, amount of fish harvesting and amount of seed collection. It was found that decision making of fishermen increased with increases of nuclear family and decrease of family members. The significance of the estimated correlation coefficients was tested at 5 and 1% level of probabilityÂ
