The establishment of a sturgeon-breeding farm for commodity output is suggested in the Baltic states. The release of the juvenile sturgeons into the basin of the Gulf of Riga and the internal water bodies of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, suitable for sturgeon feeding, should be increased. The construction of a base during the 1970-1980s for breeding of sturgeon with the annual output of at least five millions fry is suggested.
