Beekeeping as a branch of animal husbandry studies biology and technology of growth and bees’ exploitation for the apiculture production of and pollination of crops. The purpose of research is to study the dynamics of crop areas, reserves of honey and bee families in Moldova. It was found that the number of bee families in Moldova is about 111 653 bee families, global production of honey is 3030, or an average of 27.16 kg at a bee family. It was revealed that in 2012, bee plants cultivated areas are - sunflower - 228 460 ha, rapeseed - 6104 ha and buckwheat - 587 ha, and the reserve of honey that can be harnessed - 9007 tons.
