Levantamiento del inventario ambiental de los elementos del hábitat del primate Saimiris sciureus albígena (mono ardilla) en la Reserva Natural Pompeya del municipio de Pitalito, Huila.

El proyecto de investigación se desarrolló en la Reserva Natural Pompeya del municipio de Pitalito Huila, usando diferentes metodologías como; la entrevista semiestructurada que permitió recolectar información para el reconocimiento del hábitat y del primate Saimiris sciureus albígena, a partir de esta información se definieron los elementos naturales relevantes, que seguidamente se estudiaron. Mediante el avistamiento y georreferenciación se obtuvo información sobre el número de individuos de la manada de Saimiri Sciureus Albígena, hábitos alimenticios, zonas de mayor avistamiento, además se identificaron diferentes impactos ambientales en los elementos agua, fauna y flora asociada. Se levantaron coordenadas para ubicación de fuentes hídricas, humedales y para la distribución del primate; información utilizada para la elaboración de mapas. Se trazaron 10 transectos, 5 en la parte baja y 5 en la parte alta para obtener la información de flora, se realizó colecta general, observación directa y revisión bibliográfica para completar la información. Seguidamente para la presentación de la información, se diseñaron fichas para el registro de cada uno de los elementos del hábitat; agua, flora, fauna y el primate Saimiris sciureus Albigena. A partir del análisis de resultados se plantean algunas estrategias y recomendaciones para minimizar los impactos negativos que afectan de forma directa al primate como también a los elementos que hacen parte de esta zona de conservación. En ese sentido, se sentó la línea base de la investigación sobre el estado del hábitat del mono ardilla, para continuar con la formulación del estudio de impacto ambiental en la reserva Natural Pompeya y se continúe replicando en otras zonas de reserva donde habitan diferentes especies en el municipio de Pitalito y el sur del departamento del Huila.

The investigative project was conducted at the Nature Reserve Pompeya in the municipality of Pitalito Huila using differrent methodologies such as: informal interview which allowat the collection of information allowing familiarization of the habitat and of the primate Saimiris sciureus albigena, by way of the informatión was defined the relative natural elements which allowed for further study. By way of visual obsevatión and geographic references infornmation was obtained covening the number of individuals of the group of Saimiris scierus Albigena, feeding habits, areas of highest sighting, also it was different environmental impacts were identified in elements water, fauna and flora associated. Coordinates were established for the location of water sources, wetlands and for the distribution of the primate; information used for in order to elaborate maps. 10 transepts were drawn, 5 in the lowlands and 5 in the Highlands in order to golthen informatión of flora, a general collection, direct observation and bibliographic review were made to complete the information. Then for the presentation of the information, cards were designed for the registration of each of the elements of the habitat; water, flora, fauna and the primate Saimiris Sciureus Albigena. From analysis of the results, it is formed some recommendations and strategies to minimize impacts that affect the primate along wich the habitat the elements that form a part of this conservation zone. In that sense, a baseline investigation of the state of the habitat of the squirrel monkey was established allowng to continue the study of the environmental impact in the Nature Reserve Pompeya and to continue replicating in other zones the reserve y different species in the municipality of Pitalito and the south of the department of Huila.
