Features of component composition of essential oil of promising varieties of Mentha x piperita and ways of increasing its yield | Особенности компонентного состава эфирного масла перспективных сортов мяты перечной и пути повышения его выхода

anglais. Pepper mint (Mentha piperita L.) is one of the most important essential oil crops. Menthol obtained from peppermint oil is included in some popular drugs. The demand of the Russian pharmaceutical industry for mint raw materials at the expense of its own production is not fully satisfied. It can be increased by creating new high-yielding mint varieties and developing modern methods of their cultivation. For this purpose, new high-yielding varieties 'Aisberg' and 'Aromatnaya', differing in essential oil content and component composition, were developed in the conditions of the North Caucasus branch of the All-Russian Research Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants. The 'Aisberg' peppermint has a high content of oil (4.98%) and menthol in it, while the 'Aromatnaya' one has a low essential oil content (1.95%) and a high content of menthone and minor components, which allows these oils to be used in different industries such as pharmaceutical, perfumery, cosmetic, and food. The application of natural retardant Hardy on the studied mint varieties promoted the increase of essential oil content in raw material by 22–27% and the increase of biologically active components in essential oil: menthol in the 'Aisberg', menthone in the 'Aromatnaya'. To ensure a high yield of mint oil per hectare, it is appropriate the complex application of EcoFus organomineral fertilizer and Siliplant silicon-containing micronutrient fertilizer at the beginning of plant growth and Hardy retardant – in the budding phase. This method increased the yield of the studied mint varieties by 12–13%, the content of essential oil by 26–29%, and oil yield per a hectare by 41–45%.

russe. Ментол, получаемый из масла мяты пеpечной (Мentha piperita L.), входит в состав ряда востребованных лекарственных пpепаратов. Потребность российской фармацевтической промышленности в сырье мяты за счет собственного производства удовлетворяется не в полном объеме. Увеличить его возможно путем создания новых высокопpодуктивных сортов мяты и pазработки современных приёмов ее возделывания. С этой целью в условиях Северо-Кавказского филиала ВИЛАР были созданы новые высокопродуктивные сорта культуры Айсберг и Ароматная, различающиеся по содержанию эфирного масла и его компонентному составу. У сорта Айсберг отмечено высокое содержание масла (4,98%) и ментола в нем, у сорта Ароматная – низкое содержание эфирного масла (1,95%) и высокое – ментона и минорных компонентов, что позволяет использовать данные масла в разных отраслях промышленности – фармацевтической, парфюмерно-косметической и пищевой. Применение природного ретарданта Харди на изучаемых сортах мяты способствовало повышению содержания эфирного масла в сырье на 22–27% и увеличению биологически активных компонентов в эфирном масле: у сорта Айсберг – ментола, у сорта Ароматная – ментона. Для обеспечения высокого выхода мятного масла с гектара целесообразно комплексное использование ЭкоФус (органоминеральное удобрение) с Силиплант (кремнийсодержащее микроудобрение) в начале отрастания растений и Харди (ретардант) в фазе бутонизации, что позволило увеличить урожайность изучаемых сортов мяты перечной на 12–13%, повысить содержание эфирного масла на 26–29%, сбор его с 1 га возрос на 41–45%.
