This is the first comprehensive book on organic agriculture published in Croatian language. Although it is meant for the agricultural students and agricultural advisers, it also contains a number of practical information to support conversion of motivated farmers. Next to the critical view on current conventional agricultural practices and policy, the book content covers background, basic principles and development of organic agriculture; soil management; manuring; specifics of bio-dynamic agriculture; crop production, crop protection and weed control; animal husbandry; conversion steps; regulations; matters concerning food quality and socio-economic aspects of organic agriculture. The book is a compulsory students reader at several Croatian Universities.
