Eigth ruminally canulated Churra ewes were assigned to two dietary treatments, control (C, without grape pomace) and grape pomace (GP, with 7,5% of grape pomace in the diet). Fiber and ether extract content were higher (p<0.001) and crude protein content and ruminal degradability were lower (P<0.001) in seeds than in pulps-skins. Ruminal pH was higher and ruminal N-NH3 was lower in sheep feed GP diet than C (P < 0.05). The nutritive value of grape pomace as a feed for ruminant diets is limited, however grape pomace could be interesting by their bioactive compounds.
