Propuesta de mejora del sistema de abastecimiento de agua potable de la comunidad Oyambaro.

El presente estudio evalúa el comportamiento hidráulico del sistema de abastecimiento y distribución de Oyambaro, el cual se ve afectado por la calidad que posee su agua de consumo, puesto que en épocas de lluvia se presentan altos niveles de turbidez ocasionando molestias a los habitantes. Para iniciar, se recopiló información de la línea base, donde se visitó la comunidad y se procedió a tomar muestras para análisis in situ. Además, se hizo un levantamiento topográfico, inspección y catastro de los elementos que conforman el sistema. Con los datos obtenidos en el levantamiento topográfico se realizó un modelamiento hidráulico del sistema, con el fin de conocer las condiciones en las cuales trabaja y si estas cumplen con la normativa de diseño referente a velocidades y presiones. Después de analizar el sistema se determinaron las siguientes propuestas de mejora: arreglo del sedimentador, implementación de un filtro lento o un filtro rápido y la adaptación de una malla gruesa que evite el paso de materiales. Por último, estas propuestas fueron presentadas a la junta de agua potable de la comunidad de Oyambaro, con el fin de explicar de manera comprensible, solventando cualquier tipo de inquietud.

This study evaluates the hydraulic behavior of the Oyambaro supply and distribution system, which is affected by the quality of its drinking water, since during rainy seasons there are high levels of turbidity, causing discomfort to the inhabitants. To begin with, baseline information was collected, where the community was visited, and samples were taken for in situ analysis. In addition, a topographic survey, inspection, and cadastre of the elements that make up the system were carried out. With the data obtained from the topographic survey, a hydraulic modeling of the system was carried out to determine the conditions under which it works and whether they comply with the design regulations regarding velocities and pressures. After analyzing the system, the following improvement proposals were determined: arrangement of the settling tank, implementation of a slow filter or a fast filter and the adaptation of a coarse mesh to prevent the passage of materials. Finally, these proposals were presented to the drinking water board of the community of Oyambaro, to explain them in an understandable way, resolving any concerns
