Desarrollo de una propuesta de mejoras al sistema de abastecimeinto de agua para la comunidad San Antonio del Punge, Quiroga.

El presente proyecto plantea mejoras al sistema de suministro de agua por medio de una evaluación hidráulica de los elementos del sistema de la comunidad de San Antonio del Punge. El sistema fue implementado de forma empírica por los propios usuarios, no existe algún estudio técnico que confirme su correcto funcionamiento, por ello se realizó una evaluación para determinar las condiciones hidráulicas del mismo. Esta evaluación se dio a partir de la captación hasta la red de distribución de las viviendas. Durante el proceso del proyecto se realizó visitas técnicas de campo con el fin de identificar las condiciones de las estructuras, además, se llevó a cabo el levantamiento de puntos georreferenciados de la línea de conducción y la red de distribución con ayuda del GPS, así como también el respectivo aforo de caudales donde se implementó el método volumétrico o instrumentos específicos para la medición de caudal dependiendo de cada caso. Para obtener información sobre la red de distribución y la eficiencia del servicio se realizó encuestas a la comunidad con la ayuda de la directiva. Estos datos permitieron determinar el estado de la infraestructura y obtener poblaciones futuras y caudales de diseño. Con los puntos georreferenciados tomados y con el uso del Civil 3D se obtuvo la planimetría y perfil de la conducción y distribución de agua. Posteriormente, se realizó simulaciones del sistema hidráulico con uso del software EPANET con el que se obtuvo presiones, caudales y velocidades. Partiendo de la evaluación se llegó a la conclusión que la red de distribución deber ser modificada en cuanto al diámetro de tuberías, ya que los diámetros actuales están fuera de la normativa y no tienen la capacidad de abastecer suficiente agua a las zonas baja de la comunidad. El mantenimiento es una de las principales recomendaciones por las grandes cantidades de solidos presentes en el agua llegan a acumularse en los tanques de almacenamiento y distribución que incluso las tuberías llegan a taparse.

This project proposes improvements to the water supply system through a hydraulic evaluation of the elements of the system of the community of San Antonio del Punge. The system was implemented empirically by the users themselves, there is no technical study that confirms its correct operation, so an evaluation was carried out to determine the hydraulic conditions of the same. This evaluation was given from the catchment to the distribution network of the houses. During the project process, technical field visits were carried out in order to identify the conditions of the structures, in addition, the survey of georeferenced points of the conduction line and the distribution network was carried out with the help of GPS, as well as the respective flow capacity where the volumetric method or specific instruments for flow measurement were implemented depending on each case. To obtain information about the distribution network and the efficiency of the service, community surveys were conducted with the help of the board. These data allowed to determine the state of the infrastructure and obtain future populations and design flows. With the georeferenced points taken and with the use of the Civil 3D, the planimetry and profile of the conduction and distribution of water was obtained. Subsequently, simulations of the hydraulic system were carried out using the EPANET software with which pressures, flows and speeds were obtained. Based on the evaluation, it was concluded that the distribution network should be modified in terms of the diameter of pipes, since the current diameters are outside the regulations and do not have the capacity to supply enough water to the lower areas of the community. Maintenance is one of the main recommendations because of the large amounts of solids present in the water that accumulate in the storage and distribution tanks that even the pipes become clogged.
