De siste årene har sjømatkonsumet i Norge blitt redusert. Denne rapporten ser på muligheter og barrierer innen norsk sjømatindustri for å bidra til økt konsum av sjømat. Denne delen av rapporten er basert på intervju av sentrale personer fra 5 aktører innen norsk sjømatindustri som selger sjømatprodukter til norsk dagligvarehandel. Til slutt sammenlignes og diskuteres resultatene fra intervju av dagligvarehandelen (se Heide, 2019 for fullstendig rapport) og sjømatindustrien. Basert på dette er følgende muligheter og barrierer for økt sjømatkonsum identifisert; økt konsum blant yngre forbrukere, billige og enkle naturelle filetprodukter, bedre samhandling i verdikjeden, gode og stabile rammevilkår, økt bearbeiding og produktutvikling, kommunikasjon om helse, bedre logistikk og kommunikasjon og rettferdig konkurranse.

This report looks at opportunities and barriers within the Norwegian seafood industry to contribute to increased seafood consumption. This part of the report is based on interviews of key persons from the 5 companies in the Norwegian seafood industry who sell seafood products to Norwegian retailers. Finally, the results from the interview of the grocery trade are compared and discussed (see Heide, 2019 for a complete report) and the seafood industry.
