INFORMATION AND CONTROL ASPECTS OF TOURISM SERVICES QUALITY ASSESSMENT PROVISION

The present state of tourism development as an important resource for obtaining the maximum economic, social and ecological effect that directly affects the population life quality is explored. The main strategic goals of tourism development taking into account the current state and trends of Ukraine development for the period up to 2026 are the increase in the number of foreign tourists in 2,5 times, the volume of revenues to the budgets in 10 times, the number of workplaces in the tourism sector in 5 times and the expenses of tourists while traveling to Ukraine up to 80 billion UAH. It is revealed that in the sphere of tourism services in Ukraine there are no effective mechanisms of quality control. It has been determined that an important tool for monitoring of the tourism services quality is an audit, which can ensure the prevention of possible risks in tourism activities. It is formed a vision of the essence of information and control tools for assessing tourism services quality. The possibilities of information resources obtained on the results of enterprises activity in the field of tourism for assessing the quality of tourism services are highlighted. The article outlines the issues that need to be solved for information provision of tourism services quality, in particular, for the construction of a satellite account and improving statistical reporting. It is noted that information resources for assessing the quality of tourism services may be obtained through surveys of visitors; statistical reporting of travel agents and tour operators; statistical reports of collective accommodation facilities; administrative data of territorial communities; financial statements of economic entities. It is suggested to organize a specialized form of statistical reporting on tourism in accordance with the existing indicators of financial reporting and to supplement it with information resources for expanding the possibilities of assessing the quality of the tourism product.
