The predominant types of activity of young pigs during growing and fattening were studied. In the ethological status, we studied the conditions under which such a type of activity as play appears in the social environment of young pigs. When the social distance in the pen is narrowed, the number of play contacts decreases, while the number of collisions increases in hyperactive individuals and alertness in individuals occupying a subordinate position. To assess the well-being of the conditions of detention, it is advisable to monitor behavioral activity according to developed patterns. It has been established that the predominant types of activity in young animals during growing and fattening are associated with the work of the mental sphere and the functioning of the physiological systems of the body. / Изучены преобладающие виды активности молодняка свиней на доращивании и откорме. В этологическом статусе изучали условия, при которых в социальной среде молодняка свиней появляется такой вид активности как игра. При сужении социальной дистанции в станке количество игровых контактов уменьшается, при этом увеличивается число столкновений у гиперактивных особей и настороженности у особей, занимающих подчиненное положение. Для оценки благополучия условий содержания целесообразно отслеживать поведенческую активность согласно разработанным шаблонам. Установлено, что преобладающие виды активности у молодняка на доращивании и откорме связаны с работой психической сферы и функционированием физиологических систем организма.
