O presente trabalho se propõe a caracterizar o estado nutricional e a ingestão alimentar de crianças e adolescentes submetidos ao transplante alogênico de células-tronco hematopoéticas em um hospital terciário da cidade de Porto Alegre (RS). O estudo de caráter retrospectivo, utilizou dados de prontuários de pacientes com idade entre 0 a 19 anos que realizaram o procedimento no período de janeiro de 2012 a setembro de 2017. O objetivo foi descrever o estado nutricional e a ingestão de nutrientes, além de avaliar estes com os sintomas relatados pelos pacientes que realizaram o transplante de células-tronco hematopoéticas.
Afficher plus [+] Moins [-]The present study aims to characterize the nutritional status and dietary intake of children and adolescents submitted to allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation at a tertiary hospital in the city of Porto Alegre (RS). This retrospective study used data from medical records of patients aged 0 to 19 years who underwent the procedure from January 2012 to September 2017. The objective was to describe the nutritional status and nutrient intake, as well as to evaluate these with the symptoms reported by the patients who were submitted to allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
