The high amylose rice cultivar 'Koshinomenjiman' that developed at Niigata Agricultural Research Institute Crop Research Center is suitable for rice noodle processing. Our research aimed to evaluate the influence of different cultivation conditions on the properties of polished rice and to estimate the desirable cultivation condition toward much production of rice for processing. As a result of examination, it is defined to be able to cultivate to prioritize yield ability because the gelatinizational characteristics of 'Koshinomenjiman' aren't affected by cultural condition. Therefore the authors estimated the highest yield of 'Koshinomenjiman' was approximate 560 g /square m under following cultivation conditions; transplanting stage, the middle of May; planting density, 18.2 hills /square m; basal dressing, 6g /square m; top dressing, 6g /square m at 50 days after transplanting and 6g /square m at 25 days before heading.
