anglais. Forest operations are located on soils of different textures, whether on soils with sandy, clay or intermediate textures (loamy soils). These soils can present advantages and disadvantages for forest production, with each plant species planted being sensitive to the limitations that the soil can provide. That is why it is necessary to implement adequate soil management, prior to implantation, in this way the adequate growth conditions are generated to guarantee a rapid occupation of the land and a maximum use of the physical and chemical properties that the soil provides.

Las explotaciones forestales se sitúan sobre suelos de diferentes texturas, ya sea sobre suelos de texturas arenosas, arcillosas o intermedias (suelos limosos). Estos suelos pueden presentar ventajas y desventajas para la producción forestal, siendo cada especie vegetal sembrada, sensible a las limitantes que el suelo le pueda proveer. Es por ello por lo que se hace necesario implementar un manejo adecuado del suelo, previo a la implantación, de esta forma se generan las condiciones de crecimiento adecuadas para garantizar una rápida ocupación del terreno y un máximo aprovechamiento de las propiedades físicas y químicas que provea el suelo.
