Among other results, four pilot communities formulated bylaws for improving natural resource management (NRM) based on participatory visioning and community action plans, and established mechanisms for monitoring implementation and enforcement. The report shows evidence of increasing trust, cooperation, collective action, awareness and compliance to rules and bylaws, as well as participation in community meetings and collective action initiatives such as erosion control and tree planting. The project aimed at facilitating participatory social learning processes to increase skills and knowledge of communities towards developing community bylaws and policies for better management of natural resources.
