Study of the effectiveness of a disinfectant for post-milking treatment of udder nipples in cows | Изучение эффективности дезинфицирующего средства для последоильной обработки сосков вымени у коров

anglais. Laboratory and production tests of the Lorena disinfectant containing free iodine as an active ingredient have been carried out. In laboratory tests, the bactericidal properties of the product were studied using Staphylococcus aureus (20 P) and Escherichia coli (675) test cultures by plating working solutions of the product into agar at an exposure of 30 s, 1, 2, 5 and 10 min, concentrations of 50, 75 and 100%. As a result, it has been found that the highest bactericidal activity of the agent against these cultures is manifested at a 100% concentration. Production tests were carried out in the integrated agricultural production company "Plemzavod Maisky" situated in the Vologda region, Russia, on lactating cows. After milking, the product in a concentration of 100% was applied to the udder nipples by dipping each into a cup with the product for at least 2/3 of the length for several seconds. To study the contamination on days 1 and 10 of the experiment, flushes from the udder nipples were carried out: after milking before treatment (background values) and 10 and 30 min later, followed by inoculation in meat-peptone agar. The total microbial contamination decreased in comparison with background values: after 10 min on the 1st day of the experiment - 9.7 times (from 22379.3 to 2298.6), on the 10th day of the experiment - 15.4 times (from 2708.6±424.1 to 175.3±14.1); after 30 min on the 1st day of the experiment - 9.2 times (from 22379.3±1168.3 to 2432.6±165.0), on the 10th day - 7.1 times (from 2708.6±424.1 to 380.2±104.1). In cow milk samples no pathogenic and opportunistic microflora was isolated on the 1st and 2nd days of the study. No side effects or complications have been noted on the udder skin. It is concluded that the disinfectant Lorena at a 100% concentration has a pronounced bactericidal effect; its use contributes to the reduction of general microbial contamination of nipples of cow udders.

russe. Проведены лабораторные и производственные испытания дезинфицирующего средства Лорена, содержащего в качестве действующего вещества свободный йод. В лабораторных испытаниях изучали бактерицидные свойства средства с использованием тест-культур Staphylococcus aureus (20 P) и Escherichia coli (675) посевом в агар рабочих растворов средства при экспозиции 30 с, 1, 2, 5 и 10 мин, концентрации 50, 75 и 100%. В результате установили, что наиболее высокая бактерицидная активность средства в отношении этих культур проявляется при 100% -ной концентрации. Производственные испытания проводили в СХПК "Племзавод Майский" Вологодской области на лактирующих коровах. После доения средство в концентрации 100% наносили на соски вымени методом погружения каждого в стаканчик со средством не менее чем на 2/3 длины на несколько секунд. Для исследования обсемененности в 1- и 10-й дн. опыта проводили смывы с соков вымени: после доения до обработки (фоновые значения) и через 10 и 30 мин после нее, с последующим посевом в мясопептонный агар. Отмечено уменьшение общей микробной обсемененности по сравнению с фоновыми значениями: через 10 мин в 1-й дн. опыта в 9,7 раз, в 10-й дн. - в 15,4 раза; через 30 мин в 1-й дн. опыта – в 9,2 раза, в 10-й дн. – в 7,1 раза. В пробах молока коров в 1- и 2-й дн. исследований патогенной и условно-патогенной микрофлоры не выделено. На кожных покровах вымени побочных явлений и осложнений не отмечено. Сделан вывод, что дезинфицирующее средства Лорена в 100%-ной концентрации оказывает выраженное бактерицидное действие; его применение способствует уменьшению общей микробной обсемененности сосков вымени коров.
