allemand. Das Modell CERCBETl dient zur Prognose des Erstauftretens von Cercospora beticola in Zuckerrüben in den verschiedenen Regionen Deutschlands. Es ist eine für Deutschland angepasste Adaption des an der Universität Piacenza entwickelten Modells CERCOPRI. Das Modell CERCBETl wurde mit historischen Boniturdaten aus den Jahren 1995-1998 verifiziert und mit Daten aus dem Jahr 1999 validiert. Die bereits nach einem Jahr Modellentwicklung erreichte, erstaunlich gute Abbildungsgüte gestattet es, das Modell bereits in diesem Jahr den Pflanzenschutzdiensten der Länder zum Praxiseinsatz bzw. zur Praxiserprobung zur Verfügung zu stellen. Ziel des Modells ist es, die Überwachung des Auftretens von Cercospora beticola zu optimieren und unnötige, vor dem Erstauftreten gelegene Bonituren einzusparen.

allemand. CERCBETl is a model for the forecast of the first appearance of Cercospora leaf spot of sugar beet in the German growing regions. CERCBETl bases on the CERCOPRI model, which has been developed at the University of Piacenza, and has been adapted to German conditions. CERCBETl was verified with historical data from 1995-1998 originating from monitoring activities of the governmental crop protection services of the German countries and validated with data from 1999. After one year under development CERCBET 1 gives satisfying results and may be implemented into agricultural practice by the governmental crop protection services. The model aims at the optimisation of the monitoring of the first appearance of Cercospora beticola, especially at the reduction of superfluous assessments in the early phase of the epidemics.
