anglais. A controlled house climate has a considerable influence on animal well-being and productivity. Therefore, ventilation and heating, and increasingly cooling, are standard components of building technology. In addition to requirement oriented feeding, genetic potential and good management, appropriate temperatures and good house air quality in the resting areas are essential for successful animal production.

Daher sind Lüftung und Heizung, zunehmend auch Kühlung, feste Bestandteile der Gebäudetechnik geworden. Neben einer bedarfsgerechten Fütterung, dem genetischen Potenzial und einem guten Management sind angemessene Temperaturen und eine gute Luftqualität im Aufenthaltsbereich der Tiere wesentliche Bestandteile für gute Erfolge in den Ställen.
