anglais. Determination of the influence of the type and length of activity related to intellectual work on the mental fatigue of a person and its relationship with the heart rate reserve. The scope of the research included an estimation of mental weariness determined on the basis of the number of incorrectly provided answers in the logical task. During mental work, the number of heartbeats was measured on the basis of which the WRT indicator has been determined. During the experiment, there were also tested the level of mental involvement and the level of concentration during mental work with the help of the Emotiv Epoc + neuroheter.. There was a significant relationship of results between the methods used and the number of errors made in the logical task in the case of a high degree of psychological burden. It has been noted that the psychological load during the analysis of scientific research has a very stable course, oscillating between 60% and 70% of the maximum human potential. This indicates a high predictability of fatigue level, which gives the opportunity to build a precise structure ofworking time to optimize employee performance..
