Minimalne stężenie N,N-bis(3-aminopropylo)dodecyloaminy (ADPA) hamujące wzrost pleśni wynosi 0,03% dla szczepu Aspergillus niger i 0,05% dla Aspergillus flavus. Dawki te powodują zahamowanie procesu kiełkowania konidiów, a tym samym uniemożliwiają rozwój grzybni. Niższe dawki ADPA jedynie opóźniają proces kiełkowania zarodników. Rozwój młodej grzybni hamowany jest dawką 0,08%. Na wyselekcjonowane szczepy oporne, tolerujące dawki 0,05% A.niger i 0,08% A.flavus, działanie ADPA objawia się zmianą morfologii. Triamina osłabia syntezę glukanu w ścianie komórkowej szczepów opornych na rzecz wzrostu składników białkowych. Nie stwierdzono samego ADPA w ścianie komórkowej.

These doses cause the stoppage of the conidia germination and at the same time preclude the growth of mycelium. Smaller doses ADP A only delay the spores germination. Development of the young mycelium is inhibited with the concentration 0,08%. To selected resistant strains, which tolerate doses 0,05% A. niger and 0,08% A. flavus, the activity of ADPA is shown by the change of morphology. Triamine weakens glucan synthesis in resistant moulds cell walls but increases the amount of proteins components. The cell is not certified to contain ADPA.
