Respuesta a la aplicación de reguladores de crecimiento vegetal sobre la germinación de semillas de bajo vigor, desarrollo y establecimiento de plantas de chile ancho y chile serrano (capsicum annuum l.)

"El presente estudio se realizó con el objetivo de evaluar el efecto de siete productos comerciales: ácido giberélico Biogib® 10 PS (10%), ácido giberélico (≥90%), KNO₃ (99.6%), Kinetin® (≥ 98%), Fitobolic®, Humitrón® 12 L y Biozyme® TF, sobre la germinación de semillas de bajo vigor de chile serrano variedad Tampiqueño y de chile ancho variedad San Luis; así como determinar su efecto promotor o inhibidor del desarrollo de plántula, además de comprobar si el efecto persistió en el crecimiento de las plantas. Experimento I. Se efectuó en cuatro etapas. Etapa I, se realizaron curvas de imbibición, usando soluciones preparadas con ácido giberélico Biogib® 10 PS (10%), ácido giberélico (≥90%), KNO₃ (99.6%), Kinetin® (≥ 98%), Fitobolic®, Humitrón® 12 L y Biozyme® TF. Etapa II. Las semillas previamente imbibidas, se sembraron entre papel y se realizaron ensayos de germinación, se determinaron las variables vigor de germinación, porcentaje de plántulas normales, longitud media de vástago y de radícula. Etapa III. Se seleccionaron plántulas normales de la siembra entre papel y se trasplantaron en charolas con sustrato para evaluar el porcentaje de supervivencia. Etapa IV. Las plántulas de chile ancho se llevaron a invernadero para trasplante. Se evaluó supervivencia de plántulas y adaptación. A partir del trasplante, cada 14 días y en cinco fechas, se determinó altura de planta, diámetro de tallo y contenido de clorofila. Con el equipo portátil LI-COR 6400, se determinaron variables asociadas con la tasa de asimilación de CO2 en dos fechas, a los 51 ddt (días después del trasplante) y a los 72 ddt"

"The present study was conducted in order to assess the effect of seven commercial products: gibberellic acid Biogib® 10 PS (10%), gibberellic acid (≥90%), KNO₃ (99.6%), Kinetin (≥ 98%)®, Fitobolic®, Humitron® 12 L and Biozyme® TF, in the germination of low vigor seeds of Tampiqueño serrano pepper variety and ancho pepper San Luis variety; as well as to determine their promoting or inhibiting effect in seed germination and seedling development, in addition to find out if the effect of the seeds treatments persisted through the plants growth. Experiment 1. It was conducted in four bioassays. Bioassay I, imbibition curves were performed, using solutions prepared in different concentrations with gibberellic acid Biogib® 10 PS (10%), gibberellic acid (≥90%), KNO₃ (99.6%), Kinetin (≥ 98%)®, Fitobolic®, Humitron® 12 L and Biozyme® TF. Bioassay II, previously soaked seeds with the products mentioned above, were sown between Anchor paper and germination tests were performed. The evaluated variables were: percentage of germination vigor, percentage of normal seedlings, and average stem and radicle length. Bioassay III. Normal seedlings from the second bioassay were selected and transplanted in trays with substrate to assess the survival percentage. Bioassay IV. Ancho pepper seedlings from bioassay III were transplanted to pots in the greenhouse; survival of seedlings, was determined. After the seedlings were transplanted, an evaluation was carried out every 14 days in five different dates, plant height, stem diameter, and chlorophyll content were determined. Also, variables associated with the rate of CO2 assimilation rate were determined (photosynthesis, stomatal conductance, transpiration rate, intercellular CO2) at two different dates, 51 data (days after transplantation) and 72 ddt, with a LI-COR portable equipment"
