Effect of irrigating the fields with wastewater generated during the production of yeast on the composition of the segetal flora | Wpływ nawadniania pól uprawnych ściekami wytwarzanymi podczas produkcji drożdży na skład flory segetalnej

In the experiment that was carried out on the production fields owned by the company Leasaffre Poland headquartered in Wolczyn (51˚4’N, 17˚57’E), the influence of food industrial sewage irrigation (after yeast production) on the occurrence and weed floristic composition in reed canary grass, spring wheat, winter wheat and maize field was investigated. Regardless of the field crop and the irrigation rate of sludge applied, the main type of weeds found on these plantations were hygrophilous species, i.e. Phragmites australis, Equisetum arvense, hygro and nitrophilous species i.e. Polygonum hydropiper, Symphytum officinale, Echinochloa crus-galli, Poa trivialis, Apera spica-venti, Matricaria maritima ssp. indora and nitrophilous species, i.e. Galium aparine, Solanum nigrum, Urtica dioica and Galinsoga parviflora. On the other hand, on the plantations where sewage irrigation was not applied, more often species from dry habitats or periodically-dry habitats appeared, i.e. Setaria viridis, Conyza canadensis, Bromus hordeaceus or Plantago lanceolata. Moreover, another group of species was distinguished, i.e. Elymus repens, Capsella bursa-pastoris, Fallopia convolvulus, Geranium pusillum, Polygonum aviculare and Cirsium arvense, which may be called neutral because these plants were found on both irrigated and not- irrigated fields.

W doświadczeniu przeprowadzonym na polach produkcyjnych należących do firmy Leasaffre Polska z siedzibą w Wołczynie (51˚4’N, 17˚57’E) oceniano wpływ nawadniania ściekami uzyskanymi z przemysłu spożywczego (po produkcji drożdży) na występowanie oraz skład gatunkowy chwastów w łanie mozgi trzcinowatej, pszenicy jarej, pszenicy ozimej oraz kukurydzy. Niezależnie od rośliny uprawnej oraz zastosowanej dawki polewowej ścieku główny składnik flory segetalnej nawadnianych plantacji stanowiły gatunki higrofilne, tj. Phragmites australis, Equisetum arvense, higro-, i nitrofilne, tj. Polygonum hydropiper, Symphytum officinale, Echinochloa crus-galli, Poa trivialis, Apera spica-venti, Matricaria maritima ssp. Indora, oraz nitrofilne, tj. Galium aparine, Solanum nigrum, Urtica dioica i Galinsoga parviflora. Natomiast na plantacjach, na których nie stosowano nawadniania ściekiem, najczęściej występowały gatunki siedlisk suchych lub okresowo wysychających, tj. Setaria viridis, Conyza canadensis, Bromus hordeaceus czy Plantago lanceolata. Ponadto dość liczną grupę stanowiły gatunki, które występowały zarówno na polach nawadnianych, jak i nienawadnianych, a które można określić mianem neutralnych, tj. Elymus repens, Capsella bursa-pastoris, Fallopia convolvulus, Geranium pusillum, Polygonum aviculare i Cirsium arvense.
