Health status of winter triticale as dependent on weed control, nitrogen fertilization and protection against pathogens | Zdrowotność pszenżyta ozimego w zależności od sposobu regulacji zachwaszczenia, nawożenia azotem i ochrony przed patogenami

anglais. The experiment was conducted in the years 2004–2006 at the Experimental Station in Tomaszkowo near Olsztyn (NE Poland). The aim of this study was to determine the effect of different weed control, nitrogen fertilization and fungicide application on the health status of winter triticale cv. Woltario. Weed control affected the severity of leaf and spike diseases in winter triticale, which was the highest following harrowing and herbicide application and the lowest in the treatment when only herbicides were applied. The effect of weed control on the incidence of root and foot rot diseases varied. The highest infection intensity was noted on the leaves of plants in the treatment where nitrogen fertilizers were applied to soil at three rates, while the leaves of non-fertilized plants were infected to the lowest degree. Foliar nitrogen fertilization significantly improved the health of plants, as compared with soil fertilization. Chemical control with fungicides was found to be a highly effective strategy for leaf and stem base diseases.

polonais. Doświadczenie przeprowadzono w latach 2004–2006 w Zakładzie Dydaktyczno- -Doświadczalnym w Tomaszkowie k. Olsztyna. Celem badań była ocena wpływu różnych sposobów pielęgnacji i nawożenia azotem oraz stosowania fungicydów na zdrowotność pszenżyta ozimego odmiany Woltario. Sposób pielęgnacji wpłynął na nasilenie chorób liści i kłosów pszenżyta ozimego. Choroby najsilniej opanowały rośliny na obiekcie bronowanym i traktowanym herbicydem, a najsłabiej, gdy stosowano jedynie herbicyd. Nie stwierdzono jednoznacznego wpływu zabiegów pielęgnacyjnych na nasilenie chorób podsuszkowych. Liście roślin nawożonych doglebowo w trzech terminach były atakowane najsilniej, a najsłabiej – bez nawożenia azotem. Dolistne stosowanie części azotu istotnie poprawiało zdrowotność liści, w porównaniu z nawożeniem stosowanym wyłącznie doglebowo. Chemiczna ochrona roślin fungicydami bardzo skutecznie ograniczała występowanie chorób liści i podstawy źdźbła.
