Recently, the agricultural sector has been facing major difficulties due to climate change, strongly feeling its effects and, to a certain extent, contributing to their occurrence. Agricultural production depends significantly on weather and climate conditions, which makes this sector extremely vulnerable. Changes in temperature and precipitation, as well as extreme weather phenomena, influence crop yields. For this reason, researchers are looking for methods of cultivating plants that minimize losses in new climatic conditions. At SCDA Secuieni, experiments with different cereal species and varieties were set up to evaluate the influence of climatic conditions on grain production and to identify the most stable varieties of straw cereals. The results showed that the wheat crop had the highest yields, with average values ranging between 7240 kg/ha (Miranda) and 7563 kg/ha (Glosa).
