In article teoretiko-methodological aspects of forming and the organizational-economic mechanism of functioning of the vegetable market in the course of transformation of economic system taking into account regional features and tendencies are considered. It is proved methodological and methodical principles of forming of the price for vegetable goods, factors of influence on it are specified. The analysis of balance of consumption of vegetable goods in Ukraine for 2005–2013 is carried out, structures of sale of vegetables by the agrarian enterprises for realisation channels for 1995–2013 Is specified in basic reasons of insignificant export of domestic vegetable goods and directions of macroeconomic adjustment of innovative development of industrial vegetable growing and formation of the vegetable market are proved.

У статті розглянуто теоретико-методологічні аспекти формування та організаційно- економічного механізму функціонування овочевого ринку в процесі трансформації економічної системи з урахуванням регіональних особливостей і тенденцій. Обґрунтовано методологічні та методичні засади формування ціни на овочеву продукцію, визначено фактори впливу на неї. Проведено аналіз балансу споживання овочевої продукції в Україні за 2005-2013 рр., структури продажу овочів аграрними підприємствами за каналами реалізації за 1995-2013 рр. Вказано на основні причини незначного експорту вітчизняної овочевої продукції та обґрунтовано напрямки макроекономічного регулювання інноваційного розвитку промислового овочівництва та становлення овочевого ринку.
